[디지털데일리 조은별기자] 206억원 규모의 유동화 차입금을 갚지 못해 신용등급이 대폭 하향 조정된 JTBC가 “상황 해결을 위해 모든 수단을 동원하겠다”는 입장을 밝혔다.

JTBC는 13일 “유동성 위기를 극복하기 위해 비상경영체제에 돌입하는 등 가능한 모든 수단을 동원해왔다”며 “하지만 디지털과 OTT를 중심으로 미디어 환경이 급변하면서 TV방송 광고 시장이 크게 위축되는 등 대외적인 여건이 악화되면서 오늘 일부 채권에 대한 지급불능 상황이 발생했다”고 전했다.

JTBC는 “책임있는 자세로 이번 상황을 최대한 빠르게 해결하기 위해 대·내외적으로 강구할 수 있는 수단을 모두 동원하여 최선을 다해 노력하겠다”고 덧붙였다.

JTBC는 12일 미르제이차 56억원과 제일티비씨제이차 150억원 등 총 206억원 규모의 유동화차입금에 대한 상환을 불이행했다. 이에 NICE신용평가는 JTBC의 무보증사채 신용등급을 기존 ‘BBB/부정적’에서 ‘CCC’로 하향 조정했다. 단기신용등급인 기업어음(CP)과 전자단기사채 등급도 ‘A3’에서 ‘C’로 낮췄다.

한편 JTBC는 보도와 대형 스포츠 중계 등 방송 콘텐트 제작과 방영은 모두 정상적으로 운영된다고 전했다. JTBC는 1900억원에 ‘2026 북중미 월드컵’ 중계권을 확보한 바 있다. 코바코에 따르면 JTBC는 48강 조별리그 대한민국 vs 체코, 대한민국 vs 멕시코, 대한민국 vs 남아프리카공화국 3경기에 총 185억 원의 광고를 판매했다.

아울러 KBS에 140억원에 공동중계권료를 재판매했다. 네이버에 판매한 디지털 중계권료 액수는 알려지지 않았다.
